At Pacific Safety Center, we’re dedicated and experienced Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) who teach parents and caregivers how to keep their children safe by helping them choose:
- the right seat for their child
- how to install it correctly; and
- how to use it the right way every time.
PROBLEM: Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death of children, ages 3-14. However, many of these deaths can be prevented through the proper use of child safety seats.
SOLUTION: Private and community-based car seat education classes and installations.

“Because of this program, the families I serve do not have to worry about where to find the funds to purchase a new car seat. Before this program, the families would have a toddler in an infant seat, would borrow or purchase a very outdated car seat not knowing the risks they were taking. Thank you so much for making these families more educated and safe!”

“Over the past two years your car seat safety and education program has impacted our St. Regis Park Apartments and the community at large in a great way. I see many of the families that you helped me serve daily. The children are safe and properly using the seats you all provided and installed without cost to the families. Without your program, many families here and in the community would not be able to afford car seats and would be riding their children around illegally or using old, unsafe, unreliable, wrong sized, and passed down seats. The families are truly grateful. I believe that your program has saved the lives of hundreds of children. We learned many valuable things in your classes that we didn't know. I never thought that the trash and bottles of water that I carried around in my car could become projectiles and hurt me or my passengers. How ironic it is that some of which you recommended, like keeping a child in a seat up to age eight is now law as of 2012. In behalf of myself and others, thank you and your staff. You are very much appreciated. May God bless you and may your program continue to have the resources and funding you need to continue to help families in need. If you have any questions or need my help, please call me.”

“I want to Thank PSC's KES Car seat program because of the education they provided to my clients and the benefit of receiving a free car seat. Parents share with me the changes they need to make to have their children save while driving. They also share information was very beneficial to them in the sense of not receiving and infraction or a point against them. They also share they learn the proper way to place baby in car seat. I want to thank you very much for the information provided and the availability of having a Spanish speaker to give the information.”
